Environment

Cruden Homestyle recognises and understands its responsibilities towards the protection of the environment and operates a policy which delivers reductions in the environmental impact of our business operations. We operate an Environmental Management System, independently assessed and accredited under ISO 14001:2004.

Our objectives are

• To work with our designers to design sustainable homes.
• To reduce waste volumes from sites and annually increase recycling levels.
• To measure our performance setting annual objectives and targets for improvement.
• To train all our staff on environmental issues and their contribution to our environmental goals;
• To work in partnership with our suppliers to promote sustainable sourcing of materials used in construction.

Increasingly, new construction methods and the incorporation of new technologies in our houses is helping Cruden Homestyle to offer developments which reduce or offset carbon emissions and which offer home buyers lower energy costs.

In all matters our overarching objective is to achieve improved performance on environment and sustainability which has minimal impact on cost for our customers.
